Lovely afternoon with Daughter’s No.1 and No.2 at the Kennet & Avon Winter Floating Fayre. Elsie and I discussed the grid features available on both a Pixel and iPhone cameras for helping you make the lines in compositions parallel. Can’t do much with a 3mm lens, it does tend to bend straight lines out of shape.
Earlier Ivy was trying to take a photograph of a man drinking a can of Stella using her Pentax Spotmatic. She couldn’t quite catch the moment she wanted, which was the gulp – Ivy settled for a snap of him lighting a roll-up. A little bit later the camera jammed. I was impressed that she didn’t seem to worry too much and was confident she could fix it later, even if it meant losing the last few images.
