War to Wardrobe constructs a virtual exhibition space designed around exploring the migration of military design into consumer fashion.
Through designing a set of 4 spaces – Library, Cinema, Research and Workshop, War to Wardrobe immerses viewers in the fashion and ephemera of prototype military design to tell the story of design migration in the military fashion world.
The plinth you see before you is a key physical prototype of the exhibition’s concrete construction. The design utilised a 3D printed stamp to brand the exhibitions identity into concrete, further exploring the design philosophy of function led form.
