A little tiny, tiny, tiny shoe. It’s a mouse ballerina, I think. Found on the railing of Poulton Lane. This part of town frequently hosts lonely shoes. It’s at a perfect nexus of houses, school, park, and woods where toddlers just kick off shoes as they pass. It’s like – what are you thinking? You own the place? It’s your living room?
There is usually a small crop of them on the railings – especially in the summer. Shoes, not toddlers.
