John Allison’s Garden.
13 St Andrew’s Close.
Spotted in Victoria’s late father’s garden during a moment of reflection, after a disastrous attempt to redo the ageing mastic in his bathroom.
Listening to the birds busying themselves in the bushes, I thought of how John wouldn’t have given two hoots about the mastic. That much was evident based on the general state of wear and tear in the house.
However, I’m sure he would have been absolutely delighted to see his gorgeous garden in such great shape, thanks to Victoria and her deep, undying love for him.
I’ve never been good with anything gluey. I’m sure the birds would also have an absolute nightmare if anyone had given them fully loaded mastic gun to line their nests with.
